Insecurity

Assalamua'laikum. Hallo..! Kaif haluk?

Now..

Many people suffer a feeling of insecurity in them. Insecure simply means self-doubt which makes a person to feel not enough or not measure-up for certain people around them. Emotional insecurity is really disturbing since it affects your whole world! At school, work place, functions, etc. Constantly having fear of making mistake or being judged can get the person into confidence level problem, thus restraint them to have a normal social life. For example, when you go to school reunion after the SPM. At that current time you still haven't got any offer from any university while most of your friend there are already in their semester 2. You will feel a little low-self-worth and probably you just keep yourself 'invisible' or go home earlier than everyone else. Emotional insecurity or can also be identified as inferiority complex should be intervene immediately to prevent more serious mental problems such as depression.

According to Tammy Fletcher, a licensed marriage and family therapist in California, the core emotion under insecurity is fear. A person competency level is also one of the factors that ctributes to self-doubt. There are a few initial steps that can be applied in dealing with this problem.

The first step is to admit or acknowledge the fear that you are having. Instead of saying that you are just nervous or anxious, admit that you are in a fear. Then, ask yourself in which way does that fear benefits you? Does it serve you any good? Are making yourself invinsible will help you to have more friends, knowledge? Well we all know that the answers are a definite no. Or perhaps if there is any benefit, do inform me.

Everything that you think negatively in that mind for no reason are  just thoughts. They are not facts! So give yourself the chances that you deserve. Challenge yourself to do something that you think you can never do it. Don't worry because the steps that you are going to take can be
 little steps.

Embrace the uniqueness in you. :)) For example, like me!(hehe). I have bigger hands than the other girls'. Instead of feeling upset because I have big hands, I'm feeling grateful and proud for it. Moreover Allah is The All Knowing that designed me. :)  Want to know what benefit do I get with this beautiful hand? I can grab more things than other people. My hands are also warm to be hold. hehe.

Just stop worrying about small things. Start loving and appreciating yourself for who you are. In the same time, make efforts to increase your self-value such as in the knowledge, skills. And most importantly make efforts to be closer to The Creator. When you have a good relation with Allah, insyaAllah your relation with family, friends, spouse, colleagues, etc will be good as well.

Thank you for reading! Love you! :)

*Pray. Ask Allah for anything and believe that Allah will respond because He is always there for us. He knows what are we going through. The Lord surely will give you the best at the right time.

Assalamua'laikum brothers and sisters. :)

Purdah ke Niqab?

Assalamua'laikum.

:) Alhamdulillah, ada juga entri baharu ni.

How are you people? Fine? :) Don't get used to be fined or you'll be broke in no time.. hahaha. :) Sorry if it's a lame joke. But you know, there is this one dear friend where dia still will be laughing even though my joke is lame or unfunny. hehe. Gelakkan sayalah tu? Tak apalah,, asalkan gelak, tak adalah I malu sangat buat lawak tak jadi. :))

Refering to this post---- I just want to say..."Purdah ke tak purdah, yang penting solehah!", or the translation in English would be," With or without the Niqab, the priority is to be righteous as Allah's servant!" Tu dia aihh, awat tang Bahasa Inggeris tu panjang ngat...

If you have covered your aurat(the body part that should be covered according to the syariat) perfectly, there's no NEED to wear the purdah/niqab. Did you see that I capitalized the word "need"? So, if only you have the NEED to wear that small and cute veil, please execute it right away. If you don't have any strong reason to wear niqab, you don't have to force yourself to wear it. Unless you, sisters, it is your wish to wear it anyhow.

This is just my opinions. Anybody can give me their own thoughts about this matter here.

May Allah bless us all. Take care. :)
